MARTIN, DAMOND SCOTT, 83, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Oaklawn Health & Rehab Center. He was a maintenance supervisor for Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, D. Camille Smith Martin; daughters, Anita Smiley (John), Cheryl Allen (John), Marcia Gering (Fred Shuck); six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Memorial visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Highlands.
