Thalma Lee Lucas, 78, Big Spring, died Feb. 20, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.  She was born May 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Jimmie and Parthena (Lockard) Sharp.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by her husband, Walter "Chuck" Lucas; three children, Wayne (Becky) Lucas, Kent (Sharon) Lucas and Kathy (Bruce) Scifres, all of Big Spring; a brother, O'Neal Sharp, Louisville; a sister, Shirley (Kenny) Lucas, Big Spring; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 23, at 2p.m. EST at Big Spring United Methodist Church in Big Spring.  Burial will be in High Plains Cemetery.

Friends and family may call at the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home on Feb. 22 from 1 to 9 p.m.EST and after 8 a.m.EST Feb. 23.
