Every year February is Career and Technical Education Month in Kentucky.  Additional activities and events are scheduled during the month to showcase our Career and Technical Organizations and its students.  Recently, Jailhouse Pizza allowed our Future Business Leaders of America organization to showcase consumer information and FBLA information in the form of children's menus and placements created especially for Jailhouse Pizza.

In December, Andre Dowell and Ashley Sydnor began to Work on their American Enterprise Project.  They contacted local non-chain restaurants to see who would be interested in helping us with this project. Jailhouse Pizza was excited to help.   FBLA's, state goal this year is to increase consumer awareness and February 7 - 11 is FBLA week throughout Kentucky.

These students combined these activities to complete children's menu placemats customized to fit Jailhouse Pizza's needs.  They included information about FBLA, and puzzles and games geared toward consumer information and savings.  The placemats were printed and are now being used in Jailhouse Pizza.
