Mary Maxine Lasley Stith

Mary Maxine Lasley Stith, 90, of Eastview, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of White Mills Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Robert Stith; her parents, Joseph Anderson and Nancy Ann Peerce Lasley; and four brothers, James Michael Lasley, Guy Lasley, Wilbur Lasley and Bernard Lasley. She is survived by six sons, Bobby Stith of Greens-burg, Ervin L. (Violet) Stith of White Mills, Albert Stith of Elizabethtown, Michael (Trina) Stith of Louisville, Larry Stith of Eastview and Don (Judy) Stith of Buffalo; four daughters, Elsie M. (Harold) Strader of White Mills, Shirley M. (C.T.) Goodman and Brenda Rigdon Duke, all of Elizabethtown, and Mary Ann (Ron) Shipley of Lemon Grove, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous stepgrandchildren; and two special friends, Suzy Beeler and Vonna Gowen, both of Elizabethtown.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at White Mills Christian Church with Brother Tim Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in White Mills Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today and continues from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Condolences may be expressed online at www. brownfuneral.com.
