I W.B.Hardaway of the County of Meade and State of Kentucky do make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking any and all former wills I may have made.
I give and bequeath to Jesse S. Hardaway, Eliza A. Hardaway, Maggie H. Hardaway, and Mattie E. Hardaway the sum of twenty dollars in cash to be divided equally between them.
I give and bequeath to Henry C. Hardaway, his heirs and assigns forever, that tract or parcel of land which was conveyed to me by R. M. Hodges & wife, situated and lying in Meade Co. Ky. and containing twenty five acres.
All the rest of my estate both real and personal of what nature or kind it may be, I give and devise to Rachel S. Williams during her natural life. She however, being directed to sell so much of the property as may be sufficient to pay my past debts. At her death the real estate aforesaid , I give and bequeath to her four children - Jacob M. Williams, Thomas J. Williams, E. Enfield Williams and Viola B. Williams in equal shares; but if either of said children should die before their mother, Rachel S. Williams, leaving no children living at the decease of the said Rachel S. Williams, then the said share of such property so devised to such deceased is hereby devised to the survivors of the said four children.
Should there remain at the death of Rachel S. Williams any of my personal property, then I will and devise the same to each four children in the same manner. If Rachel S. Williams should not survive me then I give and devise all the said property to her said four children and their heirs forever charging them with the payment of my just debts.
I do hereby constitute and appoint Jacob M. Williams and Thomas J. Stith Jr. executors of this my last will and testament.

At a County Court began and held for Meade County at the Court House in Brandenburg on Monday the 7th day of June 1880. An instrument of writing dated 9th day April 1880 purporting to be the last Will and Testament of W. B. Hardaway deceased was produced to court and proved by the oaths of R. C. Craycoft and Gus. W. Richardson the two (subsen?) being witnesses thereto.
Wherefore it is ordered that said writing be and the same is established and allowed as and for the last will and testament of W. B. Hardaway dec'd and admitted to record as such. Whereupon the same hath been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 7th day of June 1880. W. H. Goughbek
Notes:
This is Buckner Hardaway's will giving tract to Williams estate because Rachel looked after Buckner until his death. This land lies all across the flat bottom land of farm including sink holes, pond, next to Ditto's and Walter Scott's. Thanks to Rachel.
